- Do you know your price? How much is your competition charging for similar products? You have to make sure your price isn’t way above or below what your competition charges. You want a price that your customers will be happy with and that you can still make a profit that you can live with as well. Look at your price and product as if you were your customer. Would you pay what you’re asking and would you be happy with the product? This all needs to be included in your business plan.
- How is your product shipped to your customer? Will you allow your product to be sold world wide? After all, your product will be online for anyone in the world to see by visiting your site. When you create a business plan for your new business, you need to address these issues. When you create your site, your shipping procedures need to be clearly visible and understandable to anyone that visits your site.
- How will you get paid for your product or services? Are you going to accept credit cards? If so, will you be using a merchant account or a third party processor like Paypal? Are you going to accept money orders or checks? You need to know these answers when you create a business plan as well.
The best way to help ensure your success is create a business plan first. By creating one now at the beginning, you will hopefully be about to avoid lots of mistakes down your road to success.
